Happy somewhat-late New Year to all you people!
A lot of people seem to do New Year's Resolution type posts at this time of year, but this is not really my thing. Although, I have seen some fun reading challenges around, and the fandom snowflake thing, so I do intend to do certain things in the new year. For the sake of accountability, it is worth posting here that I am in the middle of writing a silly university AU Attack on Titan fic. Aside from Yuletide, I am shockingly bad at finishing things, so maybe this will help.
(Speaking of, does anyone have any fanfic challenges or exchanges they want to recommend or promote to me? I like the feeling of actually finishing and uploading fic.)

This was my actual assignment. It was a great deal of fun to write, and I did a tonne more research than was strictly necessary, and I was very anxious when I uploaded it, but my recipient seems to have liked it a lot, and so do other people, so now I get to feel proud and relieved.
Having made my last minute edits to that one about twelve hours before the collection opened on Christmas Day, I thought it might be fun to spend the remaining time fulfilling a few other prompts. I'd had good intentions of writing more than one fic this year, and I am very surprised to say, considering the twelve hours (during which I also slept some), that I succeeded.
This next one was for a RL friend who, hilariously, does not yet seem to have realised that it was me who wrote it for her, even though before I did I watched the last ten episodes or so while on IM with her. It'll hit her eventually. Or I'll have to tell her.
