Gideon the Ninth

So I read Gideon the Ninth and it was a Good Time. Loved Gideon and her giant muscles heaps, and also I have So Much Time for the relationship arc between Gideon and Harrow.

I'm just starting the second book now so like talk to me about it spoiler-free if you wish.

I've read Gideon the Ninth and Harrow the Ninth twice each in the past five months and I am *pinching hand emoji* THIS close to going back for a third.

They are so good. Sooooo good. A friend sold me on the first book with, "You look like you could use some lesbian space necromancers in your life." They were not wrong! I'm taking a break to focus on a library book at the moment, but I just finished Gideon for the second time and got a few chapters into a Harrow reread. The foreshadowing is infuriating.

All the love for Gideon and Harrow, but I could also read a whole book of backstory on the fifth and sixth house necro-cav teams.
