So I of late was involved in two fic exchanges. The first, not_primetime, I ultimately pulled out of because real life took up way more time than I expected. The second, history_exchange, I managed to get my act together and complete before the deadline. However, apparently defaulting does not stop you receiving a gift fic! (I did not know this. I had never done it before.) So I have now three delightful fics to read over a thousand times and enjoy deeply.

So, I present to you, this absolute treasure, which is everything a person could possibly want from their weird cyberpunk Roman Republic RPF fic. I will keep these tabs open till the day I die. I don't know what to say. This is a delightful buddy cop gangster romp featuring Gaius Gracchus and the ghost of his murdered brother, and basically, when Cicero wrote about that time the ghost of Tiberius Gracchus appeared to Gaius, I bet he wishes this is what he claimed happened.

About defaulting: It basically means that if your writer defaults too, you won't be sent out to the pinch-hit list. Iirc some exchanges take you off the PH list if you default. I don't bother doing that and instead just don't keep the collection unrevealed if you don't have a story.

Also, I thought NPT was for medium fandoms? In what world is HP not a megafandom? /confused

I have always been very confused about the fact that they consider Harry Potter valid too! But all the years I've been involved, it's been nominated and approved, and then I can never resist requesting it, because I can never get enough fucked up Black family shenanigans in my life.
