The noir pastiche? A wild stab in the dark that paid off, I guess. Seriously, I was so anxious about that fic - reincarnation is something some people really don't like, and I tried really hard and probably failed to not get bogged down in ballet details, because I know a lot about ballet, and it's hard to remember what's common knowledge...And then you picked up hints and references and foreshadowing that I didn't even know I put in, and wrote me a really really lovely novel of a comment, and you were basically just the best recipient.

So I am so proud and so relieved that you liked it. <3
