Welcome back to you too! I'm not too bad either. I quit a job that I hated, then landed a job that I think I'm going to love, teaching circus skills to kids. Then we got put into a snap lockdown literally the day after my first shift 😂

So I've been on an enforced holiday, which is fine because my old job paid out all my leave I hadn't used. But! Today I am allowed to be out in the world again!

Hello! I've been finding dealing with various levels pandemic restrictions while parenting a small child rather stressful, but I'm hanging in there. I've been reading lots of fic and sewing lots of quilts to cope.

I am pretty happy, hoenstly! I've just moved house and I'm in the process of making my new garden look nice while I can't work.

Oh man, that sounds really cool!! Is it like—a camp, or do schools bring their kids by, or what, if I can ask?

Basically we go into primary schools and do workshops! We have either a program where we come in once a week for the whole term, and put together a concert with the kids, or we can just offer one-off workshops. So mostly we're working with manipulation skills (e.g. juggling, hula hoops, poi), or a little bit of acrobalance.

They do have a sister studio teaching aerials, but obviously getting aerial equipment safely rigged *in* a school could be very difficult, so we can't offer that in schools.
