Well, I watched some 1992 Australian arena production of Jesus Christ Superstar, and I was like, that was a pretty mediocre musical. Some solid concepts but it really felt like a first draft.
Then I watched a Swedish production from like the mid 2000s and I am now very invested. I have many thoughts about the political disagreements that Jesus and Judas apparently have, and how their friendship may have first started, and let me tell you, friends, I never expected to be fannish for Jesus but I definitely started writing some bullshit cyberpunk AU while waiting for the tram the other day so I guess we're here now!
Anyway, I think the production in question can be found on YouTube with fan subtitles so if you too want to be hot for Judas, go friends, go. (He's very beautiful. I don't normally go in for men but I guess the mesh shirt and the long silver blonde hair and the inner turmoil did it for me. What can I say, I'm a trash human.)

naraht's fantastic Yuri on Ice fic, linked below, in which Yuri Plisetsky has a lot of feelings in the process of growing up. Let me tell you all how happy I am to find a looooong character focused fic which doesn't have a sex scene at its climax. Or in it at all. Anyway, she produced a very good Angry Sullen (but sympathetic) Teenager and I enjoyed it so much.
